Water use calculator

Here is a calculator to help you estimate how much water you use, which things use the most, and how you likely compare to water-wise homes.  http://www.home-water-works.org/calculator

Note that it can only give general results, so take it all with a grain of salt! I found it a bit hard to navigate. You have to visit each room in the house and click on all the question marks shown to get a personalized result. Use the “back” button to go to the next room, and again at the end to get to your final results.

The answer will be given in Litres/day for your whole house. To get your litres/person/day, divide that number by the number of people in your house. Did you beat Ladysmith?? (246 L/person/day average?) How about the Guelph average (184 L/person/day)?
